With a hub and spoke cycling holiday, you stay in one destination town and ride a different circular route each day.
Every ride begins and finishes in the same place, allowing you to explore the surrounding area without needing to move accommodation or transport luggage.
It’s a relaxed and flexible way to experience the landscapes of North Wales by bike.

At Bike Wales, we have selected several locations across North Wales that work perfectly as hubs, each offering a range of scenic routes and quiet roads for day rides of different lengths and difficulty.
Create your own multiday tours
Select from our route options and link them together to create your own daily itinerary.
Your first day will start in Llandudno, where you collect your bike and begin the ride.
You plan the days in between, choosing where you would like to ride and which destinations you want to include.
Your final day will finish with a ride back to Llandudno, completing your tour.

Choosing Your Equipment
Once you’ve planned your route, the next step is deciding what equipment you’d like to hire.
We offer a range of bikes and touring equipment so you can travel comfortably and carry everything you need for your journey.

Bikes Available
You can choose from several types of bikes depending on the kind of riding you’re planning:
Road or Gravel Bikes – ideal for longer distance touring on roads and mixed terrain
Hybrid Bikes – comfortable and versatile for a variety of routes
Electric Bikes – helpful for hillier areas or longer riding days

Touring Equipment
To help you travel comfortably on multi-day rides, we can also provide:
Panniers and luggage bags – for carrying your equipment
Helmets –if required (although we recommend bringing your own for comfort and fit)
Garmin SatNav bike computers – f you are already familiar with using them

Tools & Self-Support
Each bike is supplied with a basic tool kit so you can deal with small issues on the road such as:
- repairing a puncture
- making minor adjustments
- fixing a broken chain
If a more serious mechanical problem occurs, you may need to contact us for assistance.
Choosing Your Accommodation
For your cycling tour, you are free to choose and book the type of accommodation that suits your plans and budget.
Many riders enjoy the flexibility of arranging their own overnight stops in the destination towns along their route. Options include:
Hotels, Bed & Breakfasts, AirBnB or self-catering accommodation, Hostels & Campsites
Secure Bike Storage
When booking accommodation, it’s important to check that secure overnight bike storage is available.
Ideally this should be a lockable indoor space, such as a bike store, garage or secure shed where the bikes can be kept safely overnight.
Charging Electric Bikes
If you are hiring electric bikes, please also confirm that it will be possible to charge the bikes overnight.
On some e-bike models the batteries are difficult to remove, so charging is usually easiest while the battery remains fitted to the bike. This means access to a suitable indoor charging point is important.
