Tour 3 Llandudno Great Orme and Conwy

Description of Ride

This daytime tour takes us from Llandudno around Marine Drive on the magnificent Great Ormes head, a limestone peninsular jutting out into the Irish Sea. Surrounded by ocean on one side and cliffs the other. The landscape is dramatic.

The tour will start on the Promenade in Llandudno and take you along Marine Drive, a road with traffic in one direction only,   climbing to the Rest and be Thankful , then back down to Llandudno, past West Shore and onto Deganwy, along the coastal cycle track towards Conwy and over the Thomas Telford suspension bridge.  With magnificent views of the castle, a ride around the walled town of Conwy and past the smallest house in the Uk will take us the Marina and views of Deganwy Castle.  Returning through Bodlondeb gardens  we will Stop at the RSPB reserve for coffee and cake then return the way we have come diverting through to the Promenade  and back to the ?????

The ride is approximately 25 km with 330 of ascent.  The ride should take around 4 hours.   Short sections of the ride are on a busy road.
