Top Short Ride -The Great Orme Coastal Ride

Ride Nr 1

One of the standout rides in the area is the route around the Great Orme. The Marine Drive road circles the headland, offering one of the most scenic coastal rides in Wales. Along the way, riders can enjoy panoramic sea views, spot wildlife such as seals in Pigeons Cove, and take a break at the well-known Rest and Be Thankful café.

The Marine Drive around the Great Orme is one of the most iconic short rides in North Wales.

This toll road loops around the headland just outside Llandudno, offering uninterrupted coastal views across the Irish Sea. The climb is steady rather than steep, making it accessible for most riders, and the scenery makes it well worth the effort.
